I'm so incredibly happy that the challenge has come to an end. I feel like I get my evening back and no longer have to stress about getting a manicure done. But I am incredibly happy that I've managed to complete the challenge for the fifth year. I don't think I will be participating next year, because we are planning big vacation to the USA during September and October next year. Unless I somehow manage to schedule 31 posts before I leave. Ha! who am I kidding. Hey, I may not even still be blogging in a years time. Who knows!
Lets get to the final mani, where we honour the nails we love. I have to say there were so many amazing manis that I saw during the challenge. So many I wanted to attempt, but knew I didn't have the skill level to try. So instead I went for something that I've seen recently on two different accounts, Yagala and Uma's Nail Art, where they have done a design over chamelean pigment. Both their recent mani's used Born Pretty Store Unicorn Pigment, which I don't have, so I had to improvise.
I used a black base and some red to green colour shifting pigment. I then painted some gel flowers, but clearly my black outlines bled and didn't stay nice and sharp like they were when I first painted them. In the end I actually wished I done flower stamper over them instead, as I knew I would have had sharp outlines, but meh, I painted these this morning and couldn't be bothered doing them again.
I think I'm off to shop at the Born Pretty Store. I don't think I've shopped there in over a year. I wonder if there shipping is any faster yet?
