Yay for the end of the week - at least it is here in Australia! I'm pretty desperate for just a quite weekend where I can do some swatching, but instead we have three birthday parties to attend as well as U8 t-ball in the morning. I have so many amazing Dance Legend polishes that I want to show you, but just not enough time in the day, nor enough days in the week to get them swatched.
Ever since the new Picture Polish collaboration shades came out late last year I knew I wanted to wear Escapades, Enchanting and Kryptonite all together. They all have the same scattered holo finish and the colours compliment each other so well.
I did a tape mani to show them off. The base polish is Lacquistry Amazeballz. I then used striping tape to tape lines off and painted between the lines with two stripes of Escapades, then Kryptonite, then Enchanting. On my index and pinky fingers I just did two coats of Escapades with a gold swarozski crystal.
Escapades, a collaboration with Nail Escapades, is a very dark teal jelly with a scattered holo finish. My photos in the full sun show the polish with a lot of brightness. In regular indoor lighting, the polish is a very blackend dark teal. The polish formula is great and you could nearly get away with one thicker coat. I did two coats otherwise it just doesn't seem right. Topped with Seche Vite top coat.
Picture Polish Escapades is available from Picture Polish. International ladies may be able purchase through one of the many Network stockists if they have this in stock.
Oh I'll look forward to the Dance Legends!
