Are you guys sick of seeing pictures of Multichrome flakies everywhere? I sure hope not!
It's time for another I Love Nail Polish Multichrome Flakie, and the next one I chose to wear was Brilliance.
Brilliance actually has quite a rosey bronze base (which is much more apparent in real life and tricky to capture in photos) It shifts to copper, gold, green and teal.
I sponged this polish on using the technique I showed in the video application of Gaia. I was asked on Instagram if this technique used more or less polish than when you just apply it normally. I thought at the time it probably used more polish, but then later when I thought about it I realised that it would use no more or less polish than if you did several coats to achieve this opacity. The only difference is that the clear base isn't built up in thick layers on my nail, rather it is soaked up in the sponge.
Let's have a look at the many faces of Brilliance.
I dont know if you've answered this before...how easy is the removal of these flakies? Very good tip, to achieve opacity without thickness of the clear base. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSick of multichrome flakies... Never! I'm wearing glam polish harmony wind applied using your technique and I just can't stop staring at my nails. So keep em coming cause they are incredible and I love them. Oh and its much easier to remove than glitters.
ReplyDeleteHi...the link in this post to the "video application of Gaia" is broken. Could you fix that? I'm always interested in a good video tutorial. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteTotally not sick of these....Every time I look I'm amazed at the awesomeness!
ReplyDeleteNever get sick of them! I have Luna and Atlantis but your making me want more!
ReplyDeleteYour swatches are incredible! I love these mulichrome flakies!!! Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous and I love the shift on it :-D
ReplyDeleteso gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteJust brilliant! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhooow...amazing <3
ReplyDeleteI have this on my nails at the moment - it really is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteCould you please, please post swatches of Atlantis? I feel like I've browsed through all the swatches for this collection on the whole internet looking for accurate pictures and your photos are by far the best! I already have 7 different ILNP flakies (got them in the preorder, yay!), but I'm thinking of placing another order next week, they are all so beautiful~ Problem is, Atlantis doesn't seem to be very popular AND most bloggers layer the flakies over black or other colors - which I think is a mistake because the color shift isn't fully visible then ;/ I mean, all the regular flakies can be layered over black - the beauty of those multichrome flakies is that they are opaque and buildable on their own....
ReplyDeleteEkhem, sorry for the rant :D Anyways, I really love the fact that you swatch them on their own and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your amazing photos!
