Today I have a pretty blue glitter polish to share with you. This is Rae's Rainbow
and it's a limited edition charity polish from Pretty
Serious. Rae's Rainbow was designed by Rae who
was diagnosed with Diabetic Ketoacidosis. You can read more of her story on the Pretty Serious Blog. The polish was originally only going to be sold for the month of December 2013, with $5 from every bottle sold being donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in the UK. But you are still able to grab a bottle through Pretty Serious while stocks last. But once it's sold out, it will be gone forever.
Now lets take a closer look at this beauty. Rae's Rainbow is a aqua blue jelly with blue micro glitter and hex glitters in red, blue, pink, orange, silver and purple. I layered one coat over Emily de Molly Indigo Flow, which was the perfect base colour for this jelly polish.
I noticed my bottle has some reflective curling happening now that wasn't on the original promo bottle shots. It's mainly the aqua blue, purple and red ones that have developed it. I stress that this is a reflective curl and it's doesn't curl up and become scratchy on the surface of the nail - like the dreaded taco glitter does. I did use two layers of top coat because I love that glassy smooth look, but I thought I should mention it because you guys are so very good at spotting these things.
I really love it!
