Mid last month, Girly Bits Cosmetics released their fall collection of nail polishes that included nine shades. The collection is themed around Pam's favourite TV shows premiering at the beginning of Fall, including Bones, The Family Guy and Saturday Night Live. I have five of them to share with you as well as a nail art design I created with some of them.
Dancing Phalanges - raspberry pink base with glass fleck shimmer which almost shines blue in the sun. Smooth and gorgeous and easy to apply. I did two coats here with Seche Vite top coat.
Gravedigger - a squishy purple leaning black jelly with lots of bright Halloween
inspired coloured glitters in orange, fuchsia, purple, green hexes and
squares, fuchsia dots, and purple iridescents. I did three coats to ensure the jelly base was completely opaque for my photos.
King of the Lab - pumpkin orange glass fleck shimmer. Again the formula was excellent and easy to apply. This is two coats with Seche Vite. I can see myself getting plenty of use out of this polish given that our baseball season is about to start and the team colour is orange.
More Cowbell - a steel blue gray with a scattered holo finish and bue iridescent flakies. I love the scattered holo finish to this, and the blue flakies, which show up more-so indoors. Perfect at two coats.
What the Deuce? - a kelly green holo shimmer. This has the same holo shimmer as More Cowbell and I love the bright freshness of this colour. I know it's a autumn/fall collection, but both this a More Cowbell also fit perfectly for spring. This is two coats with Seche Vite.
I loved the matching holo shimmer in both More Cowbell and What's the Deuce?, and also the sping vibe that they gave me, so I decided to create a simple gradient with the two polishes. I then stamped with Essie Shine of the Times and Messy Mansion plate 21 (scaly things).
Thanks for visiting as always.

ReplyDeleteI love your swatches. But then again, I always do :)
ReplyDeleteKing of the Lab...love that show. And I'm happy to see some glass flecks! Holos are gorgeous, but sometimes you just want a sparkly glass fleck. Beautiful swatches, and thanks for the peek.
