Lynnderella - Topaz Optimism

I wore this Lynnderella a few weeks ago, when I had the catch up with my local nail polish buddies, but I have so much material to blog about that it takes ages for something to get onto my blog.

Topaz Optimism from the Birthstones and Talismans collection contains a mix of gold and yellow glitters in a clear base. There is a nice mix of holo gold glitters in this and the yellow glitters have a satin finish. As you can see, there are also a big mix of shapes including flowers, starts, diamonds, hexes and squares. I layered one dabbed coat over Chanel Peridot and finished with Seche Vite and Glitter Tamer.

In case you didn't already know, I'm a ~~big~~ huge fan of gold polish. So naturally, I have a number of gold Lynnderella polishes to compare Topaz Optimism to. All of these gold polishes are quite different. Change has a much cooler tone due to the mix of silver glitters. Golden Rules is crazy golden holographic goodness. Both Be Mining for a Heart of Gold and You are Golden have much finer glitter mixes. Overall Topaz Optimism has a darker gold appearance.

I received polishes from the new collection yesterday - Once Upon a Prince and More Man Candy. I don't know why, but every time I open a package with Lynnderella polishes in it, they always look so much better than I imagined them to be. I guess no photos ever really do the polishes full justice to their beauty.
