Today I've got Lynnderella Love Potion No 99.9 to show you. This is the new new version of Love Potion No 99 and it contains about 25% more glitter than the previous version. The major difference for me with this polish is the addition of the small red hexes and it doesn't have the violet holographic glitter.
Here I have one dabbled coat of Love Potion 99.9 layered over Pretty Serious Poltergeist Puddle. When compared to my photos Love Potion 99, which was also one coat, I can really see the difference in the amount of glitter.
I still haven't shown Poltergeist Puddle on it's own even though I have actually worn it several times under different glitter manis. Poltergeist Puddle is a stunning polish in it's own right and the perfect matching undies for Love Potion 99.9.
These comparison photos of the two versions are a little over exposed. In fact I'm lucky the bottles didn't explode as I took these photos. It was 40 degrees outside and I placed these on top of the black BBQ hood - seriously I could have fried an egg on it!
Very pretty! I love the color combination of the glitter in this polish!
ReplyDeleteI love glitter, but that one looks really bumpy and lumpy and like it would drive me crazy on my nails. I pick at things that aren't smooth and this looks like it is a huge topcoat eater. How does it wear once you get it on? Can you get a smooth glassy finish with this one? I do love the colors and I think I almost prefer the original version of Love Potion 99 more.
ReplyDeleteIt must be the reflections in my photos, because this really was glassy smooth. Having said that, yes it is a top coat eater, I think I even did three coats of top coat on this. It lasted perfectly - alhtough I only usually wear one mani for abou 24 hours before I change.
Deleteit's beautiful, i want it! :)
ReplyDeleteWowzers. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have the original and I love the little holo glitters in it! But seeing the little red glitters in the newer version makes me want both! Lol!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the purple and tiny red glitters together!
ReplyDeleteOMG, what an incredible color!!!
