Given the recent unpleasantness regarding Lynnderella polishes, I considered not posting the rest of my collection. But I've now decided that there are enough people that are just happy to see beautiful polishes, regardless of whether they are easily available or not. Therefore I will continue posting about my Lynnderella's because they make me happy. And really, what it all boils down to, is I blog because it makes me happy.
Lynnderella Bibbity Bobbity Boo Blue is actually one of the polishes that Lynnderella is discontinuing. But there is no need to fret too much, because this polish is similar enough to Mademoiselle Violette de Bleu, that most people would be very happy with either one or the other.
For some reason, when I say this polish name in my head, I always forget the Boo part, I say Bibbity Bobbity Blue!
This was one coat Picture Polish Bombshell, two coats of BBBB, one coat glitter tamer, one coat Seche Vite.
Above is the macro shot of Mademoiselle Violette de Bleu so you can see
the difference. I also layered it over a different polish, so bear that
in mine too. I actually prefer Mademoiselle Violette de Bleu because
it has more purple and violet glitter.
I agree with you, I am happy to marvel at the beauty that is a Lynnderella polish! I'm loving all of your posts so don't let the craziness bother you, keep posting please :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see others love just marvelling at the beauty too! Thanks Laruen.
DeleteThey really are so similar, thanks for sharing & yes, keep posting if they make you happy otherwise what's the point of blogging ;-)
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to look like I was showing off with my Lynns, but hey I have them and am wearing them so they are gonna be on here! Thanks Kristy.

ReplyDeleteLynnderellas are my favourite polishes and I love looking at your swatches.
Oh man, you check every morning for updates, crap - no pressure hey! ;) I'm glad you enjoying the Lynnderella's.
DeleteBeing fairly new to everything, I wasn't aware that there were unpleasantness surrounding these polishes. But blogging because it makes you happy is probably the best reason to ever do so. Keep at it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jme. It's silly here is so much drama about nail polish.
Deletethis lynnderellas polishes are so beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteTruer words were never said!
DeleteI'm sad about all the unpleasantness. Nail polish is supposed to be fun and all this has left a bad taste in my mouth and made me wary of trying to get to know people because I'm a bit scared of all the cattyness. I'm so glad you're just carrying on doing your thing, showing us beautiful polishes. I love this! x
ReplyDeleteThanks aimeeus. I avoid the main nail boards but still come across some amazing bitchiness. I just want to enjoy beautiful polishes too.
DeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeleteHeya, Lynnderella disabled her site. COuld you please let me know what the issue actually IS regarding lynnderella polishes please?? thank you :) x
ReplyDeleteI believe Lynnderella removed her blog to regain some creative space after learning of other frankeners attempting to copy her polish designs, and sell them as cheap alternatives.
DeleteI think it would be difficult to deal with as a creative individual, seeing your hard work copied and sold for someone else's profit.
A very gorgeous glitter, love it!
ReplyDeleteThank-you for continuing to post your Lynderellas...Polish makes me happy, too, and we all probably need a bit more of that:0)
ReplyDeleteYay for people that just love polish, either wearing it or seeing beautiful polishes on other people. And I agree, there definitely should be more happiness in the world!
