I started with Orly bonder base coat. I decided I would wear Ozotic #527, one of the all time worst holo polishes ever made (but it's a pretty pink). But after I applied one coat I remembered how sheer it was. So then I put on a coat of Ulta 3 Spring Shower. It's a pale pink cream, but a little plain for what I wanted. So finally I layered one coat of Ozotic #516. Perfect, exactly the colour I wanted.
On the accent nail I put three coats of Ulta3 Lily White. That is one tricky polish. It's gluggy and draggy to apply. Every time I put it on I remember that I planned to add white pigment to it to make it a one coat white, just like I did to my Ulta3 Black Satin to make it a one coater. One day I'll remember to do that before I apply the polish.
Next I applied a holographic top coat to the white nail and applied the pink ribbon decal. The pink ribbon decal was gifted to me as a prize in a nail art competition from Nail Polish Art Addiction.
Hey, who needs a white holo when you can layer a holographic top coat over a white polish and get something just as good. I used HITS Hefesto as the holographic top coat.
I love this mani, I feel very feminine and will have to find something pink to wear with this tomorrow at work.
Pretty mani and for a very worthy cause.
