I just spent the last hour and a half cropping and editing photos ready for my blog and now I really can't be stuffed doing a blog post. Grrrrr, damn blogging is way to much work sometimes! Oh well, I'll quit my moaning now and get onto showing these two lovelies from Crowstoes.
Hell Hath No Fury - Boo-yeah! I originally put this on over red, but I wasn't in love with it because I didn't think that a red base made this polish pop enough. I then put it over a black base and I was mesmerized - it looked like a completely different polish. It just shows how a different base polish can really effect firstly, the appearance of a polish, but secondly how much you like it.
Hell Hath No Fury contains red, orange and iridescent glitters in various shapes and sizes.
A Christmas Crow - is a dark brown polish with a bronze shimmer and stunning gold to green colour shifting glitters. I completely failed at capturing both the sparkly shimmer and glowiness of this polish as well as barely capturing the green shift - if you look real close on some of the photos you can seen a few green glitters.
Also, there aren't any pink hexes in this polish, so I have no freaking idea how I ended up with a pink hex on my middle finger. Then again I don't know how I end up with glitter in many places that I find it!!
Both these polishes are still available from Llarowe, however considering they are from the Halloween and Christmas 2012 collections, I imagine that once they are sold out they will not be restocked. Hell Hath No Fury is also available from Overall Beauty.
Polishes provided for consideration.
The first polish looks really good. I would wear it on Valentines Day.
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of Hell Hath No Fury! Sooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't found the right base for Hell Hath No Fury and I tried several. Even black does not give that extra pop, i think. It's a hard one, but in itself very pretty.
ReplyDeletelove them both!!!
ReplyDeleteWow. Your swatch is incredibly beautiful of Hell Hath No Fury. It definitely pops the best against black compared to the reds on llarowe's site. Always love seeing your glitter swatches. :)
